# Koncepts

> Koncepts is an AI teaching and learning platform built only for the International Baccalaureate: PYP, MYP and DP. Teachers and schools: https://koncepts.school. Students: https://koncepts.ai.

It is IB-native end to end: teachers plan, teach, assess and follow up in the IB's own language (criteria A–D, Statements of Inquiry, command terms, markschemes, achievement levels, Programmes of Inquiry), and students study the way the IB actually grades them. Individual IB teachers can use Koncepts free; students can start free and upgrade to Koncepts Pro for full access; school plans are available.

## Positioning

The IB is not like every other board — and Koncepts is built for nothing else. Cross-curriculum edtech makes IB teachers translate the IB back into a generic format. Koncepts starts from the framework teachers actually teach and keeps that context through the whole workflow: plan → teach → assess → follow-up.

- **MYP** is treated as its own operating system: criteria A–D, Statements of Inquiry, global contexts, command terms and achievement levels 1–8 are native from the first click. The MYP planning and assessment tools serve Mathematics, Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics in MYP 4–5), Language and Literature and, since October 2026, Individuals and Societies (History and Geography in MYP 4–5).
- **PYP** has no IB-issued syllabus — each school authors its own Programme of Inquiry (POI). Koncepts generates everything (notes, lessons, decks, assessments) around the school's own Central Ideas and lines of inquiry. No marks, no bands — PYP stays evidence-based by design.
- **DP** is the two years that count: HL/SL context, command terms, markschemes, past-paper practice, Paper 1A mock papers, part tests and EE/TOK core supervision stay in one DP-native system.

## What Makes Koncepts Different

1. **Ground-up IB content and assessment** — not generic lessons with IB labels. Every note, question, rubric and task is criterion-tagged, command-term aware and shaped by IB teachers. A unit's Statement of Inquiry (MYP) or Central Idea (PYP) carries through lessons, rubrics, assessments, feedback and analytics without the teacher re-explaining the IB every time.
2. **Socratic AI Class Tutor (early access)** — a live, voice-led tutor with a real-time whiteboard that teaches by questioning, not by handing over answers. Teachers set the content boundary (the exact topics assigned) and the tutor stays inside that scope; when a student is missing a prerequisite, it fills that gap one-on-one, then returns to the topic. Grounded in the curriculum — a prompt like "osmosis" resolves to the right syllabus subtopic, not a generic internet answer. Teachers request access from inside the app while it rolls out.
3. **Grading against the teacher's own markscheme** — in MYP, every submission is AI-graded against the markscheme the teacher approved, with a question heatmap and criterion-level results for the class. From any student's results the teacher can send a follow-up assignment built from the criteria and markscheme points that student missed, and can override any mark. DP part tests are AI-graded too, with class analytics by assessment objective, topic and command term. PYP has no marks, by design.

Exports from four PYP and seven MYP tools come out designed, opening with an illustration made for the unit, so plans, assessments and resources are ready to hand to a coordinator, a colleague or a parent without reformatting; a PYP slide deck prints as the class sees it or as a teacher copy, with its exit ticket.

Solve, for the question in front of you: type it, snap it or upload it, then choose Guide me (hints and questions back, never the answer handed over), Step-by-step (the full working) or Check my answer (your own attempt marked like an examiner, stopping at the first mistake). Study ([koncepts.ai/dp/study-with-kori](https://koncepts.ai/dp/study-with-kori)): drop in notes, slides, a photo or a link and Kori turns it into notes, flashcards, quizzes and cheatsheets, saved to the student's Library. It knows the student's programme, year and subjects, so a Chemistry HL answer sounds like Chemistry HL.

**MYP students** study the way criteria A–D grade them: criterion quizzes (four ladders per subject, 8 levels each, a 7-question mastery loop where wrong answers recycle until owned), interactive notes with tappable key terms and an AI Study Buddy, condensed cheatsheets with read-aloud, Kori (the same tutor: Guide me, Step-by-step or Check my answer on the question in front of them), authentic eAssessment past papers, class join-by-code, and follow-up assignments their teacher sends for the criteria they missed.

**DP students** practise the way the exam marks: exam-style questions with markschemes and model answers, timed papers their teacher sets, Kori (an AI tutor with voice and a live canvas), and an EE/TOK Essay Evaluator that marks drafts against the real IB criteria in a private, versioned workspace — it coaches but never writes, with the IB's AI-disclosure rules surfaced before every AI action.

**PYP students (ages 6–12)** get Inquiry Worlds — a gamified learning app where the game IS the pedagogy: the six transdisciplinary themes become explorable worlds, every topic is one swipeable path of video, notes and questions with read-aloud on everything, a ~10-minute adaptive daily path re-teaches what's wobbly and always ends on a win, and every reward maps to a real PYP element (Concept Gems are the PYP's concepts, Superpower badges are the Learner Profile). Built to the strictest child-safety bar: adults create accounts, QR class-card login, no ads, no leaderboards, no fail states, no open text boxes, no public sharing. Launches school-by-school.
